Cinderbella the Under Kitty

a kitten fell into our lives last evening...
~imagine that! :P

She is a funny faced little sweetie that looked like she'd been playing in the cinders & soot. She was the last of 7 and no-one wanted her :(
We fell head over heels the minute we saw her funny little face peering up into ours.
We are always for the underdog...and she was, a sort of, an "under-kitty!" in that regard. (thus the name) :)
So now it's Hobbes Levi, Katy Boo aka Katerina von Kitty, aka Boo kitty aka Boo Badly (after Boo Radley) from "To Kill A Mockingbird" and now... one half pound, seven week old..."Cinder Pie-- the under-kitty"
Yep, we're cornballs!
and yep, our pets are spoiled... not with a ton of furniture and specialty stuff... but with lots of love...


~Thank you dear husband for letting us adopt this sweet little creature :)

Sweet little Ava, our (part time baby) as we give her care during the day a few days a week.... reflecting whether or not she needs to "listen" when we tell her it's time to go home from the park...She wants to submit... but has a battle at it... Like all of us!

He Who Hear Not

wordless pictures for a while...but first, Birthday dinner pics with my dear husband and daughter at "the best" pizza place around!,(luv pizza!)

...As I explained (Post Title) I need to take a blogging sabatical... I am, in a way, feeling drained and uninspired. Life and along with it, trying to re-coupe my lost zeal, meaning , authenticity and spontenaiety has left me bereft of all the aforementioned. It's time to just settle down and focus Up... 'Up'on God, and look to Him for refreshment. I a not gonna try to conjure up wise words or search too hard for an abundance of relevent content. I have much inward work to do.. but I do hope some of you will stick with me as I journey forward (upward, inward?) and come visit my photos at least as I humbly post them, hoping someone might be inspried or they might just bring a smile or a sense of peace?

A FEW DELICIOUS FRUIT SMOOTHIE RECIPES FOR BUSY DAYS WHEN NUTRITIONAL NEEDS ARE HIGH! POWER PACKED PICK-ME-UPS WITH A PUNCH!

AMAZING APPLE SMOOTHIE
2 cups apple sauce
1 cup apple cider
1 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons Vermont maple syrup
1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.


APPLE CARROT QUENCHER
2 cups carrot juice
1/2 cups apple juice
6 ounces non‐fat vanilla or plain yogurt, frozen
1 banana
Put all ingredients into blender. Blend until smoothie consistency is reached!


APPLES AND CREAM SMOOTHIE
2 cups vanilla low‐fat ice cream
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon or apple pie spice
1 cup fat free skim or 1% low fat milk
Ground cinnamon (optional)
In a blender container combine low‐fat ice cream, applesauce, and the 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon or apple pie spice. Cover and blend until smooth. Add fat free skim or 1% low fat milk. Cover and blend until just mixed. Pour into glasses. If desired, sprinkle each serving with additional cinnamon. Serve immediately. Makes 4 (8‐ounces) servings.


APPLE PIE SMOOTHIE
1 frozen banana
1/2 peeled, chopped apple
1 cup apple juice
1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Blend. Great substitute for applesauce! Control the consistency by adding more or less chopped apple.
