To share life's ups and downs

And the pace can make it tough

for in giving there's receiving
and in death to self is life.

What we're wishing for more of.
For Jesus said to find life
We must lose it for his sake;
May this we each remember
When love's choices we must make.
Help us shun all earthly voices
That would steal our hearts away
and be faithful to remember
All the vows we made that day.
